Will Pop-up cameras be the new trend?
Personally, I am of the opinion that the pop-up motorization might not stand the test of time.
However, my thoughts haven’t stopped Oppo — the same company that manufactures OnePlus devices— from releasing a smartphone with a pop-up camera shortly after Vivo released the NEX.
Unlike Vivo’s Nex, the Oppo Find X’s motor raises the top center section of the phone to reveal the back and the front cameras — a 25MP camera front camera, a 3D facial scanning system, and 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear cameras.
Specs-wise, we are looking at a 6.4-inch display with a curved screen (Kinda looks like the S9, right?) and a body ratio of 92.25 percent. You get FHD OLED display along with a glass covering at the back, speaking of the back, the phone doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor at all, instead, it uses the 3D facial scanning system mentioned above.
It also uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor, along with an 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage and a 3,730mAh battery with fast charge.
So, over to you, would you rather go with a notch or a pop-up selfie?
