Supreme Court To Hear Suit On PDP Crisis Today 

The Supreme Court will begin hearing on thePeoples Democratic Party (PDP) crisis in Ondo state, today, November 22, 2016.

According to Vanguard, the Supreme Court will determine if the Court of Appeal President, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, acted correctly by setting up a panel to look into the matter.

The panel led by Justice Ibrahim Salauwa, on November 18, 2016, adjourned the case indefinitely.

Speaking on the issue, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Olabode George said the ruling of the Supreme Court will determine how Nigeria’s democracy will turn out. George also said “We are heading into some areas of destabilization in this country.

“We are fumbling in the judiciary atmosphere.”

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday, October 28, 2016, named Jimoh Ibrahim as the PDP candidate in the November 26 governorship election.
